The rain has stopped, for now, and we are on to the onion bed. Ben and Cassie worked all day transplanting onion starts and we were able to finish 9 trays. THAT’S ABOUT 2,250 planted, we are half-way there!!!! WOW, good job guys & gals. Ken was called out early to work so he missed out on most of the fun. He came home around 5:00 and seeded a quart of sprouted corn. Go man Go. Cassie stopped and made us lunch and supper. We sure are eating good these days. Yesterday the nice people from the county came (the road department), and graveled the road in front of our farm. They graded it and rolled it with their heavy roller. It shook the whole house, greenhouse and ground. That thing must be HEAVY! I took their picture while they were out there working. Thank you, boys!
I was able to mow part of the lawn and transplant tomato, basil and bok-choy. I also helped them transplant onions for awhile and worked on an article on onions. The days sure go fast when you are busy don’t they? Well, time to quit for today. Good-night!
